The golf club of Carcassonne is located on the road to Limoux in the south hills along the highway between Narbonne to Toulouse.

The course was designed in 1988 by Jean-Pierre Basurco a young architect from Biarritz. There are some outstanding views to the dark forest covered Cevennes on the North side and the white snow tops of the Pyrenean mountains to the South West. The course is a par 71 of 5,758 meters.

The club house has its own restaurant and offers an extensive menu of South West French cuisine.
